|Soil||The vineyards are located in the heart of the La Clape hill range, between Narbonne and the Mediterranean. The landscape is steep and arid, encompassing gorges and cliffs with garrigue and copses covering the rock. La Clape basks in 300 days sunshine a year with an average temperature of 14°C. This is a typically Mediterranean climate. The soil coverings alternate between clay-limestone, red earth and grey or yellow marl, along with red or green sandstone.|
|Winemaking||The grapes are harvested at peak ripeness by hand and transported in small, 15-kg crates. The fruit is destemmed, crushed and goes straight to press. Fermentation lasts for 15 to 20 days.|
|Tasting Note||The colour is a brilliant, clear straw-yellow. The nose offers up oxidative notes of nuts, honey and white-fleshed fruits in syrup. The palate is fresh with aromas of almond and dried apricot. The finish shows a faint sourness.|
