LEZIGNAN, FRANCE -- If you want to enjoy a glass of wine without expanding your waistline, France has developed a low calorie wine, "So Light".
It packs 60 calories a glass, about the same as a carton of sugar-free yogurt.
It also has less alcohol content than regular wine.
"So Light" and targets the health-conscious population.
The new wine was developed by the French Wine Research Center, and was created by growing grapes with less sugar.
It also involves a new distilling process that lowers the regular alcohol content of wine from 13 percent to nine percent.
