CAB transition to Organic certification

Akene is developed to promote organic viticulture with our winemakers partners.

We help winemakers throughout the transition to organic farming: in organic vine growing, winemaking, blending and finally marketing. In 2019, with Akene it is 670 hectares that have gone into organic viticulture, in our region Occitanie.

Akene, it is the insurance to savor a good bottle, elaborated with Love and Passion for the "bio". You help the organic transition of our agriculture. On behalf of our winemakers-partners, thank you and congratulations for your help.

Drink with white meats in a sauce or soft cheeses.

Grape-variety Blend of Viognier and Muscat.
Soil Terraced vineyards in the Corbières. Cool nights produce a balanced wine with beautiful acidity. An arid climate but good drought resistance.
Winemaking Harvesting by hand then whole cluster pressing. Protection against oxidation. Fermentation for approximately a week with temperature control (14-16°C).
Tasting Note Palatable, supple wines lifted by fresh, not jammy fruits. Good balance and medium concentration. Abundant freshness.
