CAB transition to Organic certification

Akene is developed to promote organic viticulture with our winemakers partners.

We help winemakers throughout the transition to organic farming: in organic vine growing, winemaking, blending and finally marketing. In 2019, with Akene it is 670 hectares that have gone into organic viticulture, in our region Occitanie.

Akene, it is the insurance to savor a good bottle, elaborated with Love and Passion for the "bio". You help the organic transition of our agriculture. On behalf of our winemakers-partners, thank you and congratulations for your help.

Makes the perfect partner for cold, roast and grilled meats and Mediterranean vegetables

Grape-variety Blend of Carignan, Grenache and Merlot.
Soil Warm, dry climate promoting ripening, aroma development and concentration in the wines.
Winemaking Harvesting by hand. Destemming. Temperature-controlled fermentation for approximately two weeks. Frequent but gentle pumping-over.
Tasting Note Palatable, supple wines lifted by fresh, not jammy fruits. Good balance and medium concentration. Red spices.
